any book-keepers?

I've just started a distance learning book-keeping course (have to stop every time I tell anyone because there's something in me that instinctively wants to say 'book-making', and that is quite, quite different.)

So anyway, you can choose whose exam you want to take at the end of the course:

International Association of Book-keepers

London Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Pitmans

Institute of Certified Book-keepers

Which is best / most respected / most useful for jobs (I work in public sector / charitable sector)

Any advice gratefully received.

I have the ICB Qualification. It was the only one I had heard of if that helps....

ICB - again only one I have heard of.

I am also doing the ICB one but have recently been told by someone that it is not recognised

AAT is another one.
