I am currently employed by a university but work for NHS. My whole department is paid and employed by the NHS. I have yet to transfer over to NHS terms and conditions and their payscale. My manager is doing this for me and has even managed to get me a small payrise at the same time. My only problem is that I have just thought that I will have to work for the NHS a minimum of one year before I am entitled to NHS maternity pay, is this correct even though I have been doing my current job within the NHS for 10 years. Does my service not count at all or would I have to start from scratch as an NHS employee!
