Hi,
My DH applied for a job via an agency;the vacancy was on their books. He was put forward to the company as a candidate and was told the interviews were this week.
The company have now contacted the agency and told them they can't afford to take on anyone full time at the moment and have withdrawn the job from the agency's books.
They did the same thing, to the same agency last year and they are a bit peeved with them.
As my DH freelances as well he wondered if he could legally/morally approach the company directly now and offer his services on an as and when needed basis.
This would help us and them because they wouldn't have to afford a permanent member of staff until things pick up for them.
Is it ok to do this or do you think he should get the agency to approach them on his behalf offering his services freelance.
What do you think?
