Teleanswering service - do you use one?

Looking to start up working from home and will need service to answer phone - something like a receptionist would do and allow me the option of taking the call or for the caller to leave a msg (rather than an answering service that just takes a message and passes on to me).
Do you use one and which one?

I think most of the call centre services do this now - google them, or start with jam.

I have a friend who offers this service as a virtual assistant (like a PA but virtual) - her name is Vee and her number is 0871 528 9390.

Thanks will give her a call. My business partner thinks that we do not need this service (we're lawyers) - I think that we'll (hopefully) be too busy to answer the phones and it also lends a better professional image if someone does it for you. Am I wrong in this view?
