How to work out salary

Please can you help me with this. Its not the maths, its more the terminology....

salary Range £14,136 to £14,991 (FTE) according to experience. 25 hours per week.

does the FTE mean that £14K is what I would get if I worked the job full time and I have to adjust the figure downwards rather?

Thanks!

Yes, I'm afraid that's how I read it, you need to make the salary smaller by the same percentage that the hours are smaller than FTE

Yes, unfortunately so. I think the gross pay really is 25/35 x £14,991 = £10,707.86

This internet wizard says it works out at £775.96 net each month.

Thank you Handy calculator. Should have said it is term time work so it would be even less.

Thats a shame. Still it would be better than the current nothing I am receiving at the moment!

So proabbly 39/52 x 10707 = c £8030 gross
