Is it worth me applying for this job?

I have seen a job advertised that I know I would be perfect for. It's the same job I did before I had dd3 but for a different organisation. The problem is that the job is in the UK and I now live in France. I have recently starting to do short contract work in the UK whilst living at my parent's house in London but this is a permanent position. Is it worth me applying for the position but specifying on the application that I would prefer to work flexibly in order to be able to spend half my week in France. Or is this unacceptable and I should just walk away knowing it's "right job, wrong time"?

If you apply and they say no, you've lost nothing..I would go for it if you think you could manage as the experience of interview if you get that far will be valuable as an exercise. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply mrspoppins. Managed to get side-tracked by RL for a couple of days!

I have called them to ask their thoughts on it but so far have only managed to speak to someone who isn't the line manager. Also sent her an email which has so far gone unanswered .

Anyway, I think I will apply as the practice of completing an application form will be useful.
