Where to go to find writers?

Where do I go to find a writer? Do you know of someone?

I have a project on the horizon that will mean I need to oursource writing, in the baby and toddler field, and don't know where to go to find people.

I know a couple of people and am interested in them, but am only now starting to realise what people charge.

If you are a writer, what do you charge? For 1,000 words, and for 10,000 words?

Thank you for your help.

Hiya I am a freelance writer/editor and work in the parenting field, among other areas. I usually charge £30 per 250 words, but I will always negotiate for regular or longer-term pieces of work. HTH Iarose.

I write in the parenting field for websites and magazines. I don't have a set rate, I usually discuss it with the client. I'm currently writing an entire website on my own for an agency, but the project is coming to an end.

I have a website full of samples of my articles, so email me
at [email protected] if you are interested in looking at it.

I don't put my personal email on here for spam reasons.

Just noticed you live in Cambridge, like me!

Hiya

I also do this sort of thing! I've just finished a level 4 childcare textbook and I'm looking for something new to keep me busy! Normally charge about £60 for 500 words, but this depends on the amount of work and complexity of the project. Hope to hear from you!
