I was talking to a friend about how hard it was finding ways to earn money (what with dearth of jobs and all)and brought up kleeneze. We decided that between the 2 of us it would be worth taking a punt on it.
I am keen to build a team and make a real go of it, but obviously I would prefer to get a bit of experience under my belt before I set my self up as a team leader!
My sponsor is very encouraging and gave us all the great numbers we can expect to have etc, but I'd very much welcome hearing from anyone with experience to let me know what it's like for you.
Any advice would be gratefully received!

Don't knock on the door asking for your catalogues back if they havent been left out for you

dingdong05 · 05/02/2010 22:19

Ah, now, our man said to knock cause some may hold onto cats if they have an order, or may have just forgotten. Then he said if no one was in to leave a note saying we'd be back later that day to get them. Is that a bad idea?

just

so you

know

I 'do' Avon and when I did my first campaign, put a note in a clear bag with the catalogues introducing myself and put a box to tick if people would rather I didn't push one through their door again. Lots of people ticked, but didn't mind me knocking for the catalogue if they hadn't left it out, because they knew it would be a one-off.

The tick box is a good idea., thanks knitter.
Thanks for the links littleducks, it's funny how cross people get about these things! It doesn't fuss me just to leave them out if I'm not interested- mind I live in a flat, and I understand folk may think it's advertising an empty house...
