I lurch from crises to crises (am sure that is spelt wrong)

Something goes well, things settle down and BAM the shit hits the fan

The stress is all getting way too much for me & I must chill - but I have no idea how

Sometimes so good quality time with the phone off and the kids occupied by someone else to "clear the decks" and write some lists is what is needed. Sometimes, it's just time away from work that you need so say no to something!! Think about what works for you and make a small amount of time to get your head in the right place.

Maybe some business mentoring might help? Businesslink have some really supportive business advisors, also take a look at "everywoman" who do a free online mentoring service. Might help to have someone to chat through the dramas with and in the good patches, help plan the future. Could give you the kind of support you sometimes get from friend / colleagues in an organisation situation that you miss when
working for yourself. Good Luck!!

Thanks

I know you are right & I shouldn't jack in a successful business over stress

Mentoring is a good idea - I do a lot of it - usually with me as the mentor, the other way round might be a good thing occasionally

I'll have a think
