Annual leave question.

I have 10 hours of annual leave left to take before the end of the financial year.

I only started my job in Jaunary so most weeks are booked up, my manager slotted me in for a week and I was left with these 10 hours extra.

I asked when I could take it but she just said I have to check our rota and see when they can afford for me to be off? But what if they can never afford for me to be off?

It seems unfair that I am not allowed to book one day and one afternoon off on a mutually agreed day and I have to just wait until we have enough staff one day?

I can't really do anything about it can I?

Is it possible for you to carry the time over into next year? Or have the equivalent paid to you?

Not allowed to do either, I have to take them.
