Have you lived or worked overseas, either teaching or the partner of a teacher?

I am currently considering either working overseas, or volunteering.

What do I need to know about what it's really like? which countries are better than others?

I lived and taught in Thailand, Cambodia and Taiwan. Would highly recommend Thailand and Cambodia. Taiwan was worthwhile financially but not great to live in. Why not google Daves esl cafe loads of info there.
