Hi Tink123,
I would suggest contacting any of the larger training providers and looking to become an associate.
I co-own a Learning and Development company and you would be amazed at the number of NHS based tenders out there and work where a trainer of your experience would be extremely valuable. However, success in tenders is normally only through a large, established business and it's really difficult to break into it. So check out some of the large companies and also if you can do online instructional design, why not approach companies like Kineo, Epic, Sponge etc. who could use your skills.
It could really be worth your while popping along to Learning Technologies at Olympia next week if you can - it is becoming a very popular show and will help you see what's emerging and what people are buying. (BTW I'm on Stand 105!)

Hi there, I would strongly second the advice from ljhooray. I too co-own a training company and started by being an associate for a larger organisation. A completely different field from the one you are involved in, but I reckon the same approach is valid. Good Luck with your plans.

Can I resurrect this thread please? I am a freelancer now specialising in learning and training - taking a PGCE (post compulsory) at present part time. I'm loving the owrk - always did but now decided to specialise in this as it seems pretty flexible - I have looked at the names ljhooray suggested and am totally fascinated by this sector - didn't know it existed (I have always worked to specific contracts with local authorities but hoping to extend my range of experience).

I have experience of elearning design in health and social care (social services/health).

Any more ideas of companies i could try - i would like some associate work - or temp contract, i have sound experinec (I think!)
thanks
