Help needed please!
this might sound a thick question, but how does one represent on an application form an ability to work within for example the school's h+s, or equal ops policy.
Thanks

Have just copied this from a recent application and my cv....

I am familiar with a variety of strategies for supporting students learning as a result, for instance I use the following strategies for decoding words when reading such as the use of phonics and contextual cues. Through research for coursework I am familiar with schools and national policy on issues such as Health and Safety Regulations and Child Protection.

During a school placement at a local primary school in 2008 I made use of these existing skills and developed them specifically for use in a classroom context. I worked under the overall supervision of the class teacher. On a weekly basis I supervised small groups of students using self-designed lesson plans (agreed in advance with the teacher) with specific learning targets for each student. I learned how to support less able students during group and one to one work, whilst extending learning for more able students. I had contact with pupils and staff from many year groups during assemblies and when assisting on school trips.

I thoroughly enjoy working with children, and am keen to pursue a career in education. I am looking forward to returning to work after completion of this programme, having taken a career break after the birth of my son who is now three and a half. The One to One tuition programme sounds perfectly suited to my skills and abilities.
