How much pay on average would a store manager earn?

There is a new large Boots Store opening in my Town next month, they are advertising for a store manager.

I am thinking of applying, I have management skills and experience, but not in shop work.

Does anyone have any idea how much roughly the annual pay might be??? [

Depends on the size of store and it's grading.

I'd say around £25,000 to £28,000.

That is how much I am hoping it will be, as my DH would have to give up working full time if I returned to work, he is on minimum wage, so would'nt be too much of a loss.
