Returning to work interviews

Is it normal practice to have a return to work interview a few days before your maternity leave ends and you go back?
I am returning to work on 11th July and have not heard anything from my employer. I had one after ds but I think I suggested it.

Does it depend on your employer ? I didn't have one...just strolled right on back in there ! I suppose it might be useful if your job had changed (or the people you work with etc)
