The advice I've recieved on this board has always been brilliant so can I pick your brains again?
I've got an interview on Monday for an internal role (in the same department). The closing date for applications was 3 weeks before I'm due to start my mat leave. It's for a promotion to supervise my specialist area which would be fantastic.
My interview is with my current bosses. Without wishing to sound negative I suspect they've decided who they want to give the job to already - and that to let me down gently they will say they need someone to start in the role straight away and don't want to have a messy start to the role by appointing someone as in interim replacement while I'm on mat leave!
I'm also hoping to come back part time (ideally 4 long days). I'd be really grateful to hear any tips about dealing with questions about part time working etc and any other tips/advice for the interview too.
Thanks all!
