OK, think I've got my CV under control, the next step is to sign up with some temp agencies. Last time I did this (about 7 years ago) the way it worked is you contacted a bunch of agencies direct, they called you in for an interview / chat, perhaps did some skills tests, then matched you to some jobs.
But now most of the websites seem to want you to upload a CV and apply for each job individually. As I'm only going for temp / contract roles I'd much rather simply sign up with a few agencies and let them match me to some roles. Can anyone recommend any recruitment agencies in London who still use this (perhaps old-school!) approach?
