Ginger hair and promotion

OK, I have noticed that in 2 large organisations I have worked in there have been very senior men with ginger hair. Both have recruited and promoted highly disproportionate numbers of ginger headed people.

Has anyone else noticed this as a trend?
I am not going to say what colour my own hair is BTW!

Er, no!

Never had ginger line managers and never recruited anyone with ginger hair when I was a manager (not that I can remember)

Speaking as a former ginger/strawberry-blonde-but-now-much-more-blonde-to-cover-up-the-grey

Ho ho perhaps it's just my own experience then!

Do you live in Scotland/Ireland?????

I am ginger-haired and was a director by the age of 35.

Hated it (the job, not the hair!)!

But I've never had any ginger managers or staff.
