SURVIVING THROUGH UNIVERSITY

i am desperate to go to uni in sept for a 3 yr degree but just wondering how ppl survive financially without having to take out student loans. I have no kids, no bills to pay so was thinking of getting a job in asda or tesco's at weekends to get me thru. would this be possible?

i don't see why not, other students do it.

Of course it's possible. You can try supermarkets, bars and pubs, warehouses (for picking and packing) - anywhere that operates a shift system so that you can work the hours that suit you.

If I remember from your other threads you don't work at the moment - you could try any of those places for some temporary work up until September as well, to get you started.

Thanks girlfriends! Just needed that reassurance that it worked and I would end up taking a loan.
