Just considering bidding, but the prices seem a bit on the low side, and then I noticed they take 10% commission. Has anyone used this site to their advantage?

Hi, I was a member for a while and thought it was pretty rubbish to be honest. I do PR and the prices were ridiculously low. I did some research into it and came across a business website where lots of people were discussing it and the general consenus was don't bother.

Hope this helps.

Hi!
I've only recently discovered the site and have bid for about half a dozen jobs, but a lot are priced very low. One that I pitched for was won by someone who quoted an unbelievably low price, not enough to even live on beans on toast with - actually, not even toast, just beans!
Have had uptake on one bid but only to write a sample piece of work - for free!

Hi thanks only just seen the responses. Yes that's the general idea I got from it. Needs must and all, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort either.
