Just had my 1st ever "no show" in 5 years of counselling type work. I had my doubts all along.

What to do? I will invoice and my emails detailed my cancellation terms- ie 24 hours notice or fees paid and I have their emails agreeing to the appt.

The outstanding fee is £90 so I am not keen to let them off the hook. This was my only appt all day today and I could have used the day in a completely different way! No that that is relevant, but it has cost me time and transport costs.

Any counsellors used small claims etc for fees like this, if they are unapid?
Any suggestions how to word the invoice so it hits the spot but is not overly aggressive?

Hi psycho!
Im sorry but I can't help you with your query but i was just really interested to see that you are a self employed counsellor. I am looking to train as a counsellor and am doing my second CPCAB course. Please, if you don't mind, let me know what training you did and how long it took.
Many thanks
