I've been a fundraising manager for years now, and frankly I'm fed up with it.
Our lovely PR agency have said I can go in for a couple of days shadowing, which is very good of them. I do really fancy going into PR, I think I should have a lot of transferable skills but I need some sort of experience / first steps.
We had talked about me doing some press release writing, which I've not actually done before.
And I guess I should ask to shadow the agency boss in a couple of meetings.
What other sorts of things should I be asking to do / see?
