iphone or blackberry

I need to choose an iphone or a blackberry and don't know which to go for as I have not had either for a while. I am tempted by the iphone but have heard it is not as good for emails and this is really my main requirement. Any advice??

Also DH has alot of problems synching iphone to Microsoft diary. Drives everyone mad as nobody knows where they are going and when. However, being a bunch of men they persist with their gadgets....I think his email works fine.

I love my iphone, but it's very much for personal use - I have a blackberry for work (no choice) and it's great for email and gives automatic and stress free synching with the calendar. And most of the people I know who work at O2 seem to have both, which maybe says something about the iphone from an email/work calendar perspective.

I have both, but love my blackberry more!

Another vote for Blackberry for e-mailing & calendar management, which is easier for work - iphone is more for internet surfing and music IMO. Does your work IT team service both? Mine only services Blackberries for synching with office networks.

I am looking at the same question - I am self-employed and want something which will sync with my MS Outlook and e-mail reliably etc as well as allow internet access and maps etc. Which phones do this the best! ?thanks!

Blackberry, I have one for my emails, it's fab.

Also I can't type properly on DH's iphone, as I have nails I end up jabbing at the screen with the tip of my nail in an attempt not to press the wrong 'button'.

With the Blackberry, because the buttons are raised, you can easily do it with your thumb without risk of pressing the wrong thing.

Blackberry

iPhone useless for emails. But we hate Apple products in this household anyway
