will be going back to work early next year and I'm worried about non term times. ds will be fine if I put him in nursery but DD will have started school.

Would like to explore possibility of working during school terms only - I believe it is possible as much of my work is project based.

Anyone else done this?

I started back to work in March and was really worried re school holidays. However my 2 DD's (4 & 6) go to a child minder some days (I found out one of the months at school was one and had known her a while).

Other days they go to the local leisure centre which runs a club for 4 to 7 years and another for 8 to 13. Both are Ofsted registered and also take childcare vouchers.

I only actually work school hours, so have to pay full daycare during the holidays, and when I went to pick DD's up early they complained and wanted to stay , so they were obviuosly having a great time.

The leisure centre is only £16 for full day per child.
