Four years out after an IT career - where to start?

Hi there, I am a SAHD in Germany and have had 4 years away from my old field of digital mapping. It gave me a good life and I travelled a lot with it. However that ended when I lost my job in my last company and ended up "holding the baby"!

Recently I have got into food and gardening, as a part of my responsibilities as a father at home and putting food on the table. As most know two weeks away from IT and you can forget your old career, and having seen it done it I am not so excitied with that anymore. What excites me is growing food and cooking it - HFW and Jamie Oliver are my heroes.

I am thinking of putting ads up in local shops for oder people to offer to garden for them as a start but WWYD? Would love opinions. I am not sure if I want to bother with that old career tosh like I did anymore.
