i want to leave work

i have been back in work for approx 5 months and ny finances have crashed because of this. i have a 21 year old on no money as she was dismissed. my next is 18 about to go off to uni and my third is 15 and still in full time education. i have no money and i am short £19 per week just to pay bills rent etc.. without food or clothing expenses school muftis and school days out etc....will i get benefits if i just leave work or will i get nothing

training - such as health and safety,management, customer care, financial stuff, IT packages - all free

the people you work with = the team - the laugh the camraderie - the cakes on birthdays the gossip, the xmas meal.

the fact that it is statistically proven that it is easier to go from employment into other employment than to go from unemployement to being employed.

your kids are older teenagers now- you need to start making a life for you.

perhaps you need your 21 year old to move out?

i am a housekeeper and clean rooms alone

why have ur finances got worse by working?

i am a lone parent and was getting rent paid etc
i have recently come of DLA ALSO

Is i your job that you really hate or is it the other stuff that is going on?Do you men you are earning LESS than on benefits?

I recently took a year out on a career break unpaid (Fairly prof job,good employer) as my dp was very ill and dd dx with moderate sn.

Think about what you are giving up!Work gave me a focus and aims and goals,and obv money!I have a love /hate rel with work,but it is never dull and glad I am back (It was necessary to pay mortgage etc) but have had support from SS to help me get back.

Your best bet would be to see the CAB for advice and benefits and stuff and take it from there.

because i was on benefits and dla and my eldest was in work we managed to get through but now everything has gone upside down
i keep getting my rent suspended for changes in circumstance and now i have to pay most of it because of my two older ones. and no rebates as i am no longer on dla

Ah,cross posts.Seriuosly,Iwould book an appt with CAB,his is theri area of expertise 9My Da works fopr them) and they can give good free advice.

don't get me wrong i actually went and got myself a job because i wanted that life but did not know i would get a job that was so demanding and tireing and left me with no money to live on.

funny though i was training to be an adviser at cab and the hours i have to work mucked that up and now i have to wait till september to restart

That is so hard for you Evertonian.It soundslike you are between the devil and deep blue sea as it were.Can you get any crisis loan/family fund stuff for now?Have you contacted tax credits?(They are feckers,I know!)

i am so fed up not knowing which way to turn and who not to pay next
i have never been behind with a bill in at least 10 years. truth
now i am having to play rob peter pay paul

i will go and speak to cab and see what they can advise

Hopefully the employment bods like llaregrub will be along with some better ideas (Hug)

I think the biggest problem is the age of your older ones as they don't count as dependents anymore but they aren't contributing financially.
