Does anyone work compressed hours and can built up flex-time as well?

Wondered if anyone was allowed to do this in there work place. As I was told it was'nt allowed. Thanks.

I do it.
I worked 40 hrs 5 days a week with an hour dinner break

I changed to half hours dinners and finish early on Friday afternoon. Still do 40 hours.
I can also save my hours and bank them if I do half hour dinners and don't finish early. And put them together and have whole days off or use them for doctor's appointments etc.
