Setting up a Spanish after school club

I've posted a few messages previously about setting up with La Jolie Ronde and am in the process now of setting up some classes.

I wondered if anyone on here has done it as I've just spoken to DC's school and they are going to charge me for using a classroom after school. I'm quite surprised about this as as far as I can see it, it's benefitting the school too; it looks good on their prospectus and learning a MFL helps children with their English etc.

Tbh if I'm going to have to pay to do it in the school, I'd rather run an open centre somewhere else. But I just wondered if all schools charge as I've not heard this before.

Just to add, the figure I was given was the same as hiring a room in the local community centre. It wasn't a token amount for electricity etc.
