i 've been in a management consultancy and not really got on well having had lots of domestic issues (not my fault, sick, dying parents/in laws) and they didnt like my request for flexible working
so i'm going back to freelance which I've been out of for around 8 months.
any hints and tips for coping in the recession? I will start networking again and have set up a ltd company, bought my insurance and registered with several interim agencies. What are all of you doing about setting your rates? Are you offering discounted rates to get work? Are clients paying on time? I mainly work for public sector clients...
