Any tips for an important job presentation?

I'm helping a colleague prepare for a high-powered job interview.

A 15 minute presentation explaining their strategy for the development of the department and its output is required.

My own career development would benefit if this colleague gets the job - so I'm keen to make it good!

The presentation will be on Powerpoint, probably with some additional video material.

Does anyone have any tips for making it a success?

TIA

I think the most important point is to start with the message you want to get across. Don't start work on the slides (or other materials/video etc) until you're clear what you want to say.

There are some excellent tips here. Especially the stuff on preparation.

It's good that your colleague has your help. Two heads/sets of eyes are always better than one for this kind of thing.

Good luck to you both!
