German learners of English are curious about your opinion!
Dear mumsnet-users,
we, a German class of learners of English as a foreign language, are currently working on the topic ?The world of work? and have been focussing on gender-related issues such as maternity/paternity leave and the unequal payment for men and women?s jobs. We would like to get first-hand information from people who are willing to share their experience with us.
Please take a few minutes and answer our questions to help us get a clear picture of the present situation of young people around the world.
Thank you so much for taking your time!
- If you are a man would you accept a decrease of your salary so that your female colleague?s salary can be increased and earn the same amount of money?
- If you are living in a relationship or even marriage, who would bet he one staying at home for maternity/paternity leave, and why?
- What do you think is a good period of time for parental leave?
- Do you think there is a wage gap in your job and what could you do against it?
- What do you think ist he reason fort he wage gap between men and women and how can we change this?
- What do your male colleagues, who get a better payment say about the wage gap?
