DH works for company who send engineers all over the country to different companies. He has just been stood down for next week, which means he gets paid on basic rate. That has been fine before, because it has just been extra holiday, but this time feels different. Worried there won't be work the week after either. In the past (when business was good) a few of his work mates were stood down for three weeks.
Think it is worrying me more that I am so used to him being away all week, unless we are away on holiday. Really not used to being at home together
