My little girl is nearly 6 months now and I am due to go back to work in August but I am stressing already! What if she forgets me? Who do I leave her with? How long should I work for? Please help?

Whaht are your options re hours/days ? Were you ft and now want to go pt in which case you need to negotiate. Childcare you need to decide what works for you. Do you have any relatives who wodul care for her ? At this stage you may already find it hard to get a place with a CM or nursery for August - check out chilcarelink for those local to you and visit some.

I am sure you will get lots of practical advice and reassurance from others on here. The most important thing is that you will have had 9 months of bonding and interaction with your dd - you already have that important role in her life and that will remain once you return to work.

Your daughter will recognise you and remember you. And if you can plan in special time with her before you go to work (while you are getting ready in the morning) and during the evening - play time, bath time, hugs and cuddles and reading or singing together, then you will remain close.

Good luck.
