...not just me, many of my colleagues face the same kind of threat.

I have worked for this company for nearly 15 years and they were a brilliant employer. They have been named as one of the top companies to work for in the last 5 years. Recently their values have changed and the company has resorted to bully boy tactics to get results. (I would say it started to change abotu 18 months ago)

We were a market leader because we valued our customers and treated them fairly and were fair and honest with our dealings.

I don't really know what to do...wait it out and see if my company will get better or find another job (which I suspect will be nigh on impossible to do)

Oh Edam it is. I think that if I (and some other colleagues) leave then there won't be anyone looking after our customers best interests.

What worries me is that all the regulations which protect the consumer are not being upheld or regarded as important.

That is worrying - if it gets really bad, could you make an anonymous call to a regulator or get in your union?

But in the meantime, very important to protect yourself and your family. And remind yourself that you ARE good, it's the bosses who are shit. Remember to have a life outside work rather than being dragged down into all the work shit all the time.

Having good colleagues who are all in it together can be a real support as well.
