Maternity leave question, help please

I am currently ttc and have applied for a new job but with the same employer, does this count as continuous employment or as it is a different post would it effect mat leave. I just want to know if it would make a difference if I got the job and was already pregnant or not.

So long as it is the same employer, with no break in service, then your maternity rights will not change. Good luck!
