Can payslips be handwritten

I work for my DH and have applied for tax credits.They want to do a check and have asked me to send in payslips.But he (well I actually) just handwrite them .Is that OK ?

Work in benefits....seen handwritten payslips loads esp smaller employers. As long as it covers gross, deductions and net should be fine
