Waiting to hear whether I got the job

Had an interview for a job within the same company but would be a promotion.

I was told I would hear by the end of the week; this morning the guy came into my office and asked if I was around all day. Said yes. He said he'd try and catch me for 2 minutes later.

It must be to tell me, bet I haven't got it or he would have just said, wouldn't he?

Oh why couldn't he have just said earlier. Waiting is pants. I'm pretty sure I haven't got it but just want to be told! gggrrrrrr

No unfortunately. At the moment I can work from home whenever and when I come into the office I sit in a small office with a few people that I don't actually work 'with'. New job would mean having to come in every day and sit in big office as I will have a dozen people working for me. Not such a bad thing if I don't get it though, it might kill or severly damage my weekday mn-ing
