DH looks like he's about to be shafted by his employer

Anyone out there got any info about company administration?

In brief...DH hasn't been paid for approaching 7 weeks, the company isn't yet in administration, however it appears the public liability insurance hasn't been paid and his car has been taken today. So not looking very good is it! My question is, can he ever expect to see his pay if company go into administration? His statutory redundo payment is insulting, considering his input and hard work over 8 years for the company.

I feel a rant brewing so will step away from computer now.

Any help advice gratefully received.

Sorry to hear this. He will be able to claim his redundancy and at least some of his unpaid wages from the government if his employer goes into administration and can't pay. I think it can take about 3 months but he will get it. See here all about insolvency, what he can claim and where from.

Thanks for this. The website is v useful. Still no word on whether the company is trading or not...and still no pay.
