Anyone writing from home?

I have DS1 3yrs and DD2 7 months and am considering writing course (or at least the evaluation). Very little sleep at night and have just enough energy to get through the day without shouting (too much). Don't want to miss an opportunity but aren't one of these mum's who breastfeeds and writes at the same time. I want to give 100% to my kids they are only young once. This course will still be there next year. Also I have written loads of stuff already just not honed it to perfection yet and most of the examples for the course had very little writing experience. Should I go it alone? Maybe I should be writing this on writers.net instead. Wanted more mums' opinions.

Hi rabbiton, just thought I'd reply as no-one has. I have DS 3 yrs and DS 2yrs and I'm pregnant with number 3, I work part time from home but I write too. I have signed up for a writing course for when I'm on maternity leave in October (Open University). I am working on negative energy, but when I write (as opposed to working)it makes me feel so much more excited about life, babies, all of it. I'm hoping hours of nighttime bfeeding will give me time to think about writing.
I have written loads that's unpolished too, but most of my problem is with self-belief, I think a writing course might help if someone just tells me it's good (fingers crossed).
Just my ideas. Good luck with your writing.
