Can anyone tell me if i can claim a keeping in touch day for attending my grievance hearing at work.

No, sorry. Not unless your employer agrees, and they have no obligation to do so.

A keeping in touch day needs to be mutually agreed between employer and employee, so your employer is unlikely to agree. It is really for training, etc.

Keeping in touch days aren't something you 'claim'. As Ribena says, they are something mutually agreed and usually used for training, team meetings or similar, to 'keep in touch' with what's going on at work.
