Has anyone registering a trademark ?

Is registering a trademark something I could handle myself do you think ? I have been quoted £800 + vat for a patent/trademark attorney to do it which seems like a lot of money ?

I bet he never says filing a patent is easy!!!!

(PS I do agree though, what you have to do is find a business similar to your that has also registered a mark and use the same specification - but don't tell anyone I told you that)

It is fairly easy - I have found the helpline very good - they can't assue you it'll get through but are able to highlight things to look out for
