I am applying to work in the local tourist information. My CV is sorted but I have a total blank about what to write in the covering letter. Help!

I went for an interview at the local childcare place yesterday, what was I thinking? They pay a totally shocking £5.75 an hour, that is a whopping 2p above the minimum wage. It's quite a cliquey place and I don't think I am part of the inner circle of the mums who already work there. They probably thought I was a bit of a snotty cow!

The 'love and kisses' part should defo clinch the job!

Having spent the last two days shortlisting from 70 job applications, my best advice would be to help by briefly highlighting, in your letter, your skills and experience that directly relate to the post you are applying for. Tell them what you can do for them.

oh god lilliput i cnt imagine you working in chuildcare

that moeny is terrible

youd get more for cleaning hotel bedrooms

what about hotel reception? youd be good at that and you can carry on when you start college

would you consider working as a care assitant in the mw dept

although the tourist info job sounds good - you are v friendly and approachable

I think the commitment to Uni in September is going to be too much to work as well, remember I am going to be having one hell of a commute. The tourist info job is seasonal so should be just right, although I think I will keep quite about uni, I start on 14th Sept and the job runs into Oct I think. naughty I know.
