tip for return to work - and some reassurance!

For anyone planning their return to work right now - what helped me massively my first week was that dh took week off to be with ds - it meant i could semi concentrate on work without panicking about him crying all day at nursery!
And just to reassure anyone who is feeling as dreadful as I did before I went back - I've just finishedmy 4th week back and, shock horror, I'm really enjoying having my adult identity back. DS wailed badly when dropped off at nursery (only two days a week) for the first two weeks but touch wood I got a smile and a wave this week.
Just thought it might help others to know it wasn't half as bad as the scenarios I tortured myself with for weeks on end. Good luck everyone!

yay! good for you. It's fine really, even quite nice to have both identities. Plus my ds would completely run me into the ground if I was a SAHM, I'd have to be shipped off to the sanatorium.
