Have a massive sort of exam starting on Monday with lots of face to face simulated exercises etc and I'm going to stuff it up if I get too nervous. Do you have a tried and tested way of calming yourself down when you're really under pressure??

A really easy exercise is to try running through the alphabet in your head.. a,b,c,d...etc. Of course that is too easy, so try just saying every second letter... a,c,e.... or even every third letter .... a,d,g..... You must do it without writing it down, or using your fingers to count off the missing letters. If it is still too easy try doing the same with the alphabet backwards.

An exercise like this will focus your conscious mind on something that is difficult, but which is not "worrying".
