question about tax repayment

sorted out dh tax return online they owe him money thankfully
now i checked his details by logging into his tx return account online and it says bank repayment to you sent /issued on the 16th january
does anyone know how long it would take to show in his bank account ?

I received a form around the 16th to use if I owed them, but it turned up at the same time as the statement saying they owe me money too, but they're just keeping it on my account towards next year. There didn't seem to be any option on the form to get the money paid to me! I filled in the paper form rather than online though - might make a difference?

Takes about 10 days or so.

The paper form asks if you want to claim repayment. If you don't fill the details in it will just sit there until you ask for it.

when we did it online it said it would obviously quicker if you were owed money but actually says repayment sent to you and dated 16th jan it hasnt shown in bank as of yet do you think we should ring them
