Anyone used a career coach? What can I do with my life?

I feel stuck in a rut and don't know what to do. Got a boring job which pays me well for a 3 day a week. Grotty commute but my boss is very flexible. But I find it so unstimulating and dull ands unfulfilling. Am fairly rubbish at my job and will be made redundant some day - maybe this year, maybe in 10 years. I do want to work, but I don't know what to do. I have been toying with the idea of teaching for 10+ years without doing anything about it, which suggests it may not really be the right career for me! I need some guidance or a kick up the a*. Don't even know what I expect from anyone replying to this - I just sound such an ungrateful complainer. Help!

Hi! Just wanted to ask: what is this great job that pays WELL 3 days a week with a flexible employer? Dull or not dull, that is my IDEAL situation at the moment LOL.
Besides that I'm like you, need guidance too or some bright ideas...I'm dreading going back to work, and am still on the payroll at my last job (pre mat leave) but will only go back there as a last last resort - employer v inflexible and slave-driving, even heavily pregnant so heaven knows with child what they'd be like!
Anyway at least you have a career/vocation dream/aspiration (sorry don't mean to sound like I'm drowning in self pity too much, just a low day I think!) - I am so lost as what path to follow etc... I've only been away from work for 7 months and I feel like I've lost the plot already!
Sorry, I know this isn't helping much...!!! but best of luck, and I'm not going to dish out any cliches, apart from one involving ways and wills
