Feel like i'll never go back to work :(

I got turned down for a job that I've done for the past 10 years today.
I have had 3 years off with the DC's but I sat in an assessment centre yesterday with a group of University drop out's who were 10 years at least younger than me. I assume on eof them got the job instead.
I didn't want the job but needed it and no doubt that came across but bloody hell it was a knock to my confidence.
How do you recover ??

Oh bad luck.. not nice. I sympathize. I have been off work for two years now and dread the thought of going through all that anxiety etc to get back to work.

try not to let it get you down hun. You're not going to get the first job you go for but you will get something.Don't let this knock to your confidence put you back..you will have knock-backs put it's just par for the course. Stay strong and motivated! I have to say i am dreading going through this myself when i start loooking for work again. Good luck hun xx

Wuld you want to work for a company that does not have the sense to see the value of all your experience and skills anyway? Don't worry, you will find a much better employer who has the sense to value you.
