Hi there,

My sister and her colleagues have all been put on "notice of redundancy" today. About half of them will be made redundant and they will all be re-interviewed for their jobs next week.
Sis is 6 months pregnant and if at work would have got the standard maternity package (6 wks at 90% salary then about £118 a week)
If she is made redundant before her maternity leave, will she be entitled to any money or benefits from her employer or from the govenment?

Many thanks!

I would think she woudl be entitled to maternity allowance from the government.

If you google it you should be able to find out the eligibility criteria
