Going back to work in a week and have no idea what to wear..HELP

Going back in a week after having 11 months, got rid of all my old work clothes as they didnt fit right and were abit outdated. I am not even sure where to start looking, probably need a pair of boots, black trousers....

What kind of job will you be doing.

I find the easiest thing to wear is a simple trouser suit.

Same here. I have black and grey trousers, I have boots. I have t shirts, hoodies and casual tops.

I wouldn't mind but I've spent the last year seeing nice things and having to remind myself that I have no office to wear them to. Now I need them they've all disappeared.

Go for basics to start with and you can add as you go along. Do try the sales there are still a couple of bargins out there.

What kind of work?

Grey and brown trousers are more interesting than black (says the queen of black clothes!).

If you get knee high boots, rather than ankle boots, you can wear them with skirts as well as trousers.

V neck jumpers or wrap cardigans, with a camisole (or even a long sleeved T-shirt in this weather) look smart but are more comfortable than a shirt and suit jacket.

Grey wool wide legged trousers look lovely imho.
