I've been working for this employer for 21 years. It's well paid for part-time and flexi-able. Does suit family life etc.. understanding supervisors re child care BUT I'm so bored, I don't work in a team and work a lot of the time on my own. I want to change my post but I'm scared that family life will get a real knock. I want to work up town(London) but the travelling and maybe shift work will be a great unknown. Help me figure out what I should do? Should I put up and shut up and be thankful I've got a job or what?

Work for John Lewis 10am-2pm, three days a week on the same wage. I get now Not really possible. Or work for my lot in Belgravia but there are no post there at present that are on my hours etc.. that I know. HR have told me I have to apply to transfer without knowing if I could have the same conditions.
